Prairie Five receives Minnesota Community Action Grant and Community Services Block Grant funds from the Office of Economic Opportunity. Over the last month they delivered nearly 2 1/2 TONS of food to us! And just recently, we received an incredible check for all the monetary donations collected. Food choices include fresh and healthy foods, non-perishable items, and limited household, baby, and pet items. Executive Director, Jeff Hansen, and Associative Executive Director, Jackie Lara, directly manage and oversee this grant contract. Dakota County Dakota County is 587 square miles in area and has a population of about 447 ,440.
